Dialogue with local institutions and businesses is essential for promoting participatory innovation processes that focus on inclusion and quality of life.<\/p>\n

The University of Pisa is actively engaged in the co-creation of regional projects and in developing an innovation ecosystem that involves institutions, public and private stakeholders, and international university networks.<\/p>\n

This collaboration not only supports the University\u2019s educational objectives but also responds to the needs expressed by public administrations, third-sector organisations and local enterprises.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

I-Lab \u201cCo-creation and Innovation for the Territory\u201d<\/h3>\n<\/div>\n
\n

Within the activities of the Contamination Lab, this programme trains young graduates and researchers to work collaboratively with local stakeholders. The goal is to build networks among universities, public administrations, enterprises and civil society to generate shared solutions.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Co-design at the \u201cEnrico Avanzi\u201d Agro-Environmental Research Centre<\/h3>\n<\/div>\n

The Centre hosts participatory design events such as the hackathons organised for students of the Master\u2019s Degree in Sustainable Development and Climate Change<\/strong>.
\nIn 2024, students guided by Professors Sonia Massari<\/strong> and Alessio Cavicchi<\/strong> developed practical proposals to enhance the sustainability, accessibility and attractiveness of the Centre. Among the ideas proposed were:<\/p>\n
