If you wish to enroll at the University of Pisa and require a visa, you must submit a pre-enrolment application through the Universitaly portal<\/a> for your chosen degree programme<\/a> at the University of Pisa.<\/p>\n

Deadline for the 2026-2027 academic year<\/h2>\n

The deadline for submitting your pre-enrolment application on Universitaly is 30 September 2026<\/strong>. For limited-enrolment degree programmes, any earlier deadline specified in the relevant admission call applies.<\/p>\n

Please note<\/strong>: you cannot enrol at a university other than the one indicated in your pre-enrolment application, nor can you enrol in a degree programme different from the one selected on Universitaly.<\/p>\n

Visa application<\/h2>\n

Once your pre-enrolment application has been validated<\/strong>, you will be contacted by the Italian diplomatic office<\/a><\/strong> responsible for your country of residence. You must follow its instructions to apply for a Type<\/strong> D national visa for study\/university enrolment<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

For enrolment purposes, the University of Pisa accepts only visas issued by 30 November 2026<\/strong>. To maximise your chances of obtaining your visa on time, complete your pre-enrolment application as soon as the Universitaly portal opens.<\/p>\n

The University will review your application and may ask you to provide additional documentation.<\/p>\n

Admission to or pre-enrolment at the University of Pisa does not guarantee either the issuance of a visa or the availability of an appointment to submit your visa application<\/strong>, as both procedures are the sole responsibility of the competent Italian diplomatic or consular representation.<\/p>\n

Available places<\/h2>\n

For the 2026\/2027 academic year, the University of Pisa has established a maximum number of places available for non-EU students requiring a visa <\/strong>for each degree programme.<\/p>\n

A total of 4,500<\/strong> places are available. Once the maximum number of places for a specific degree programme has been reached, the University may decide not to validate any further pre-enrolment applications<\/strong> for that programme and may instead offer applicants a place in a related\u00a0programme<\/strong> with remaining availability.<\/p>\n
