We recommend consulting the guide for full details.<\/p>\n<p aria-level=\"3\"><b><span data-contrast=\"none\">2) <\/span><\/b><strong>For which examinations is a traineeship period required?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p aria-level=\"3\">A traineeship period (\u201ctirocinio\u201d) is mandatory for the following professions:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li aria-level=\"3\">Chartered Accountant and Accounting Expert (Dottore Commercialista ed Esperto Contabile): 18 months (valid even if started before 24\/01\/2012).<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"3\">Pharmacist and Veterinary Surgeon: a post-degree traineeship period is mandatory only for graduates under the pre-DM 509\/99 system. Those graduating under later regulations complete the traineeship period during their degree programme.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"3\">\u00a0Statutory Auditor (Revisore Legale): 36 months. Please note this traineeship period is not valid for registration as a Chartered Accountant or Accounting Expert, as different regulations apply.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p aria-level=\"3\"><b><span data-contrast=\"none\">3) When is the application deadline and when are the tests held?<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<p>Each year the Ministry of Education and Research issues a ministerial order setting the nationwide deadlines for applications and the dates of the first tests. In general:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>June and November<\/strong> for all professions;<\/li>\n<li><strong>July and the following February<\/strong> for Medicine and Surgery.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>After the ministerial order is issued, each university publishes a specific notice for every profession.<\/p>\n<p aria-level=\"3\"><b><span data-contrast=\"none\">4) What is the regional licensing fee and how is it calculated?<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<p>This is a fee payable to the Region where you obtained your degree. The amount varies by Region. Since 1 January 2013, the fee has been abolished for graduates of universities in the Tuscany Region. Graduates from other Regions should contact their home university to confirm the amount and payment method.<\/p>\n<p aria-level=\"3\"><b><span data-contrast=\"none\">5) What topics are covered in the State Examination?<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0The examination assesses the candidate\u2019s technical and practical competence in the relevant field. The specific regulations for each profession define the topics (e.g. DPR 328\/2001, DPR 445\/2001).<\/p>\n<p aria-level=\"3\"><b><span data-contrast=\"none\">6) How are examination boards formed?<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0Boards are appointed annually by the Ministry on proposals from Department Directors and the relevant Professional Orders, which nominate members and Chairs. \u201cExpert members\u201d designated by the Chair may be added. Final board lists are published on the University website under \u201cLaurea ed Esami di Stato\u201d.<\/p>\n<p aria-level=\"3\"><b><span data-contrast=\"none\">7) Where can I obtain the qualification certificate?<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<p>The certificate, upon completion of the examination session and administrative verification procedures:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Can be downloaded and printed independently from the Alice Portal, under the \u201cCertificates\u201d section of your personal area;<\/li>\n<li>Alternatively, it can be requested via email at <a href=\"mailto:esamidistato@unipi.it\">esamidistato@unipi.it<\/a>\n<ul>\n<li>A scanned copy of a valid identity document;<\/li>\n<li>Personal details and mailing address for delivery.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For graduates who completed their degree before 2001, the issuance of the diploma or certificate requires payment of the regional tax (if not already paid).<\/p>\n<p aria-level=\"3\"><b><span data-contrast=\"none\">8) How do I receive the Qualification Diploma?<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<p>No application is required.
