Successful candidates will be allowed to attend internal courses at the School, sit the related exams, and request the recognition of the credits obtained by the University of Pisa, provided that the activities are consistent with their study plan.<\/p>\n<p>For the educational activities offered in the first semester of the academic year 2025\/2026, applications may be submitted <strong>by 1:00 p.m. on 10 September 2025<\/strong>. A second call for the activities offered in the second semester will be published at a later date.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.unipi.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/bando-ammissione-attivita-formative-santanna-2025-2026-1.pdf\">Call for Applications \u2013 Admission to the Educational Activities of the Scuola Superiore Sant\u2019Anna, academic year 2025\/2026 \u2013 First Semester <\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<h2>How to Apply<\/h2>\n<p>Before applying, it is recommended to review the educational offer of the Class of Experimental Sciences and the Class of Social Sciences available at the following links.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Class of Experimental Sciences<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.santannapisa.it\/it\/programma-di-studio-ingegneria-industriale-e-dellinformazione\">Industrial and Information Engineering<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.santannapisa.it\/it\/programma-di-studio\">Agricultural Sciences and Plant Biotechnology<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.santannapisa.it\/it\/programma-di-studio-scienze-mediche\">Medical Sciences<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Class of Social Sciences<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.santannapisa.it\/it\/programma-di-studio-scienze-economiche-e-manageriali\">Economic and Management Sciences<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.santannapisa.it\/it\/programma-di-studio-scienze-giuridiche\">Legal Sciences<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.santannapisa.it\/it\/programma-di-studio-scienze-politiche\">Political Sciences<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.santannapisa.it\/it\/programmazione-didattica-scienza-dei-dati\">Data Science<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For further information on the School\u2019s educational offer and the logistical or organisational aspects of the courses, <strong>please contact the relevant offices at:<a href=\"mailto:infostudenti@santannapisa.it\">\u202finfostudenti@santannapisa.it<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Students who are not on track with their studies and\/or not up to date with university fees at the time of application evaluation are not eligible<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>For the activities offered in the first semester of the academic year 2025\/2026, applications <strong>must be submitted using the online University form (<a href=\"https:\/\/forms.office.com\/e\/aC557biha4\">https:\/\/forms.office.com\/e\/aC557biha4<\/a>) by 1:00 p.m. on 10 September 2025<\/strong>. The form may be completed multiple times if applying for more than one course. The application must include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A copy of a valid ID document<\/li>\n<li>Any request for academic recognition of credits<\/li>\n<li>Any additional documentation useful for assessing the relevance of the chosen course to the student\u2019s study plan (e.g. a letter from a lecturer or thesis supervisor).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Admission to Courses<\/h2>\n<p>Before the start of the activities, the Student Office will verify that all applications meet the eligibility requirements set out in the call.<\/p>\n<p>If the number of applications that meet the requirements and any prerequisites exceeds the capacity established by the School, <strong>selection will be based on the following criteria<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a0The student\u2019s academic progress, particularly the percentage of credits earned in relation to the normal duration of the degree course;<\/li>\n<li>The weighted average of the exam grades achieved by the application deadline.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In the event of a tie, preference will be given to applicants whose chosen course is more consistent with their individual study plan, as determined by a University committee appointed by Rector\u2019s Decree.<\/p>\n<p>The outcome of the selection process will be communicated to applicants via their institutional email address (name.surname@studenti.unipi.it). <strong>Successful candidates must register on the School\u2019s Esse3 Web student platform: <a href=\"https:\/\/sssup.esse3.cineca.it\">https:\/\/sssup.esse3.cineca.it<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Admitted students are required to comply with the same attendance, participation, and final examination rules as the School\u2019s regular students.<\/p>\n<h2>Certification and Academic Recognition<\/h2>\n<p>At the end of the course, and upon successful completion of the final examination (if applicable), the School will issue a certificate confirming attendance, exam results, and the university credits earned in the relevant academic field.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Students from the University of Pisa (unless they are also enrolled at the Scuola Superiore Sant\u2019Anna) may apply for the recognition of credits earned at the School towards their degree<\/strong>. This request can be made directly when applying for admission by completing the <a href=\"https:\/\/forms.office.com\/e\/aC557biha4\">online form<\/a>. The application will then be reviewed by the student\u2019s degree course at the University of Pisa, which will assess the consistency of the activity with the student\u2019s study plan (pursuant to Article 10, paragraph 5(a) of Ministerial Decree 270\/2004).<\/p>\n<p>If the request for credit recognition is not submitted at the time of application, students may still request subsequent recognition of the credits earned at the School through the<a href=\"https:\/\/www.unipi.it\/en\/education\/student-offices\/career-management\/recognition-of-university-credits\/\"> standard procedure<\/a>.
