Before applying, it is recommended to review the educational offer of both the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sns.it\/it\/classe-di-scienze\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Class of Sciences<\/a> and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sns.it\/it\/classe-di-lettere-e-filosofia\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Class of Humanities and Philosophy<\/a> on the SNS website.<\/p>\n<p>For more information about the School\u2019s educational offer, as well as logistical and organisational aspects of the courses, <strong>please contact the SNS offices at <a href=\"mailto:studenti.esterni@sns.it\">studenti.esterni@sns.it<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h2>Admission to Courses<\/h2>\n<p>Applications will be assessed by the course lecturer. Only after receiving the official authorisation email from SNS confirming admission will students be able to proceed with the next steps.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Admitted students must register on the SNS Esse3 Web student platform<\/strong> (<a href=\"https:\/\/sns.esse3.cineca.it\/\">https:\/\/sns.esse3.cineca.it\/<\/a>) and comply with the same attendance, admission, and final examination requirements as SNS students.<\/p>\n<h2>Certification and Academic Recognition<\/h2>\n<p>At the end of the course, and following successful completion of the final examination (if applicable), the Scuola Normale Superiore will issue a certificate confirming attendance, exam results, and the university credits (CFUs) earned in the relevant academic field. Please refer to the \u201cCertificazione Finale\u201d section of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sns.it\/it\/ammissione-ai-corsi-singoli-esterni\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">SNS Notice<\/a> for further details.<\/p>\n<p>Students from the University of Pisa (unless they are also enrolled at the SNS) may apply for the recognition of the credits earned at the SNS towards their degree. <strong>Applications for credit recognition must follow the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.unipi.it\/en\/education\/student-offices\/career-management\/recognition-of-university-credits\/\">standard procedure<\/a> and include the SNS certificate of attendance and completion of the final examination<\/strong>, available for download from the SNS Esse3 Web platform. The request will be evaluated by the student\u2019s degree course at the University of Pisa, based on the consistency of the SNS course with the student\u2019s study plan (pursuant to Article 10, paragraph 5(a) of Ministerial Decree 270\/2004). Unless a specific agreement between SNS and the student\u2019s degree course exists, such credits will normally be recognised as elective credits in the study plan of the University of Pisa.<\/p>\n<p>Please note that credit recognition is not automatically guaranteed and depends on the consistency between the SNS educational activities and the student\u2019s degree course.
