Transfer to the first year of a regulated-admission degree course at the University of Pisa is only possible if the admission test has been passed and the candidate has been placed in the merit ranking.
\nSuccessful candidates must submit their transfer request through the Gepaco portal<\/a>, for which FAQs<\/a> and a user guide<\/a> are available.<\/p>\n

Requests must be submitted within the deadlines set out in the relevant calls for first-cycle<\/a> or second-cycle<\/a> degree courses.<\/p>\n

Important<\/strong>: students transferring from a regulated-admission degree course lose the right to rejoin or reactivate their academic career in the same course, unless they pass a new admission test for the original course.<\/p>\n

Validation of exams already taken<\/h2>\n

Transfers requiring validation of previous exams are subject to evaluation by the Board of the degree course of destination. The resolution confirming the validated exams must then be accepted by the student.
\nIf there are no exams to be validated, the transfer does not require evaluation by the Board.<\/p>\n

When the transfer becomes effective<\/h2>\n

Transfers to Bachelor\u2019s or Single-cycle Master\u2019s degree courses become effective on the date the request is submitted. Exams may then be taken in the new course, subject to the obligations arising from the results of the assessment tes<\/a>t, as established by the regulations of the degree course.<\/p>\n

What to do<\/h2>\n

First, check that your tuition fees are up to date and that you are regularly enrolled for the academic year 2026\/2027.
\nTo renew enrolment, it is sufficient to have paid the first instalment of EUR 140 (see payment methods<\/a>) or to have applied for a DSU scholarship, if eligible.<\/p>\n
