The transfer request must be submitted via the <a href=\"https:\/\/gepaco.adm.unipi.it\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Gepaco portal<\/a>, for which <a href=\"https:\/\/www.unipi.it\/index.php\/trasferimenti-e-passaggi\/item\/download\/28736_8f69c1fec27a4da77e5efe1cd36f78ca\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">FAQs<\/a> and a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.unipi.it\/index.php\/trasferimenti-e-passaggi\/item\/download\/28735_e2de014d6ef930daa4113a1831591700\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">user guide<\/a> are available.<\/p>\n<p>Requests may be submitted from<strong> 24 July 2025 until 2 March 2026<\/strong>.<br \/>\nOnce the transfer to the new course has been approved, it is not permitted to request a further transfer back to the original course within the same academic year.<\/p>\n<p><strong>In two cases, the Gepaco portal procedure does not apply<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.unipi.it\/en\/education\/student-offices\/career-management\/choosing-changing-the-curriculum-or-the-degree-course\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">change of curriculum within the same degree course<\/a><\/li>\n<li>transfer from single transition courses to Master\u2019s degree courses. In this case, students must contact the Student Office of the University of Pisa<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Important<\/strong>: students transferring from a regulated-admission degree course lose the right to rejoin or reactivate their academic career in the same course, unless they pass a new admission test for the original course.<\/p>\n<h2>Validation of exams already taken<\/h2>\n<p>Transfers requiring validation of previous exams are subject to evaluation by the Board of the degree course of destination. The resolution approving validation must be accepted by the student, who will be admitted to the year of study corresponding to the credits obtained in their previous career.<br \/>\nIf there are no exams to be validated, the transfer does not require evaluation by the Board.<\/p>\n<h2>When the transfer becomes effective<\/h2>\n<p>Transfers to Bachelor\u2019s or Single-cycle Master\u2019s degree courses take effect from the date of submission of the request. Exams may then be taken in the new course, subject to the obligations arising from the results of the assessment test, as established by the course regulations.<\/p>\n<p>For Master\u2019s degree courses, the transfer becomes effective after evaluation of curricular requirements and personal preparation.<\/p>\n<p>For transfers to the <strong>Master\u2019s degree courses in Linguistics and Translation, and in Euro-American Languages, Literatures and Philologies<\/strong>, you must also upload to the ammissionelm portal the evaluation form. The forms to be completed can be downloaded below:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Master\u2019s degree in Euro-American Languages, Literatures and Philologies\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.unipi.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/FORM-LETFIL_Critico_Letterario_1-4.pdf\">Critical-literary curriculum (monolingual and bilingual)<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.unipi.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/FORM-LETFIL_Teorico_Comparatistico_1-2.pdf\">Theoretical-comparative curriculum<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Master\u2019s degree in Linguistics and Translation\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.unipi.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/FORM_Valutazione-Curriculum-TRADUTTIVO-1.pdf\">Translation curriculum<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.unipi.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/FORM_Valutazione-Curriculum-LINGUISTICO-1.pdf\">Linguistic curriculum<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For assistance with completing the forms, please contact <a href=\"mailto:didattica@fileli.unipi.it\">didattica@fileli.unipi.it<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2>What to do<\/h2>\n<p>First, check that your tuition fees are up to date and that you are regularly enrolled for the current academic year. To renew enrolment it is sufficient to have paid the first instalment of EUR 340.00 (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.unipi.it\/en\/education\/registration\/fees\/payment-methods-for-tuition-fees\/\">see payment methods<\/a>) or to have applied for a DSU scholarship, if eligible.<\/p>\n<p>The procedure to follow:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Log in to the <a href=\"https:\/\/gepaco.adm.unipi.it\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Gepaco portal<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Sign in with your Alice credentials<\/li>\n<li>Select the degree course you wish to transfer to<\/li>\n<li>From the list provided, select the exams for which you wish to request validation<\/li>\n<li>Indicate any exams you have taken which do not appear in the list. For exams divided into modules, indicate only those for which you have completed all modules, for the total number of credits awarded<\/li>\n<li>Save and keep the receipt<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h2>How to check the outcome of the transfer<\/h2>\n<p>On the <a href=\"https:\/\/gepaco.adm.unipi.it\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Gepaco portal<\/a>, you can check the progress of your request. At each stage, the system will automatically send a notification to your institutional e-mail address.<\/p>\n<p>You will receive an e-mail once the Board of the degree course has made its decision. You must then:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>log in to the Gepaco portal to view the resolution<\/li>\n<li>accept, partially accept, or reject the resolution<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>If you reject it, you may<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>withdraw your transfer request<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>or<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>request a new resolution, providing your observations; in this case the Board will review your request again.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For open-admission courses, if the student fails to take action on the resolution before enrolment opens for the following academic year, the transfer request will be automatically closed.<\/p>\n<p>At the end of the procedure, the Student Office will send an e-mail confirming registration of the transfer.<\/p>\n<h2>Student record book<\/h2>\n<p>Students enrolled before the academic year 2020\/2021 may print a label to be affixed to their record book by logging in to the <a href=\"https:\/\/gepaco.adm.unipi.it\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Gepaco portal<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.unipi.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/Procedure-e-Termini-pre-laurea-25-26-2.pdf\">\u201cProcedures and deadlines\u201d academic year 2025\/2026 (Resolution of the Academic Senate no. 140 of 13 June 2025).<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>It is possible to transfer from one degree course to another.
