In this case, the study programme lasts longer than the standard duration of the course.<\/p>\n<p>Part-time student status is granted for two academic years. Renewal for subsequent years is subject to a new application by the student and the regulations in force at that time.<\/p>\n<p>If you choose part-time enrolment, you undertake NOT to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>earn more than 36 CFUs in the first year<\/li>\n<li>earn more than 60 CFUs over two academic years<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Reference dates for the CFU limits:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a0Students enrolled in academic year 2022\/2023\n<ul>\n<li>36 CFUs by 29 February 2024<\/li>\n<li>60 CFUs by 28 February 2025<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Students enrolled in academic year 2023\/2024:\n<ul>\n<li>36 CFUs by 28 February 2025<\/li>\n<li>60 CFUs by 28 February 2026<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Students enrolled in academic year 2024\/2025:\n<ul>\n<li>36 CFUs by 2 March 2026<\/li>\n<li>60 CFUs by 1 March 2027<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Students enrolled in academic year 2025\/2026:\n<ul>\n<li>36 CFUs by 1 March 2027<\/li>\n<li>60 CFUs by 1 March 2028<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Fees<\/h2>\n<p>Part-time students must pay the regional tax and 60% of the annual all-inclusive contribution.<br \/>\nIf you apply for a fee reduction by 31 October 2025 (or by 16 February 2026 with a late fee), the 60% contribution will be calculated according to your ISEE income bracket.<br \/>\nAny late fees or administrative charges, if applicable, are applied in full (100%).<br \/>\nEven if you wish to apply for part-time student status, you must first enrol for academic year 2025\/2026 by paying the first instalment. The amounts due will be recalculated for subsequent instalments: if the recalculated fee is lower than the first instalment paid, the University will automatically refund the difference.<\/p>\n<h2>How and when to apply<\/h2>\n<p>Applications can be submitted between 24 July and 31 December 2025 by logging into the reserved area of<a href=\"http:\/\/tempoparziale.adm.unipi.it\/\"> http:\/\/tempoparziale.adm.unipi.it\/<\/a> with your Alice portal credentials.<br \/>\nYou must first enrol or renew your enrolment for academic year 2025\/2026.<\/p>\n<p>You cannot apply if you are under disciplinary sanctions and enrolled:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>for a number of years exceeding the standard course duration<\/li>\n<li>in a nationally regulated-admission course<\/li>\n<li>in a postgraduate or PhD course<\/li>\n<li>in single transition courses<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Recognition of part-time student status will be communicated after 31 December 2025.<\/p>\n<h2>Required documents<\/h2>\n<p>You must upload documentation proving one of the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a0you are employed with a valid contract at the application deadline<\/li>\n<li>you are undertaking voluntary civil service<\/li>\n<li>you are caring for dependent family members<\/li>\n<li>you have health problems or a disability (certified by public health authorities)<\/li>\n<li>you are pregnant or have parental duties with children up to 8 years of age<\/li>\n<li>you are engaged in high-level sports, as provided for by the protocol signed by MIUR, CONI, CRUI, CIP, CUS and ANDISU<\/li>\n<li>you are enrolled in recognised higher education institutions for the arts, music, and dance<\/li>\n<li>you are undertaking a non-curricular traineeship<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Ranking<\/h2>\n<p>The ranking list is drawn up in descending order of ISEE income. Priority is given to students applying for one of the reasons listed above. In the case of equal scores, the younger applicant prevails.<br \/>\nIn the event of a tie, the youngest player prevails.<\/p>\n<h2>Incompatibilities<\/h2>\n<p>You cannot obtain part-time student status if you:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>have been awarded, or are eligible for, a DSU scholarship<\/li>\n<li>have a part-time collaboration with the University and\/or grants for tutoring, remedial, or support activities (Law 170\/2003)<\/li>\n<li>take part in international exchange programmes (e.g. Erasmus)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Part-time student status is also incompatible with merit-based benefits, benefits for students over 50, benefits for students with specific learning disabilities (SLD), benefits for students with a disability between 45% and 65%, and with certain fixed contributions.<br \/>\nIn these cases, you must choose either the relevant benefit or part-time student status.<\/p>\n<h2>Loss of part-time student status<\/h2>\n<p>You will automatically return to full-time status (and must pay the outstanding 40% contribution plus a EUR 200 administrative penalty) if you:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a0exceed the maximum CFU limits<\/li>\n<li>voluntarily give up part-time student status<\/li>\n<li>withdraw from or forfeit your studies before the last instalment of the second year of part-time student status<\/li>\n<li>participate in international exchange programmes (e.g. Erasmus)<\/li>\n<li>graduate within the first year of the two-year part-time period<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Regulations<\/h2>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.unipi.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/regolamento_tasse_2025_2026_prot-1.pdf\">Regulations on student contributions for academic year 2025\/2026\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n<h2><\/h2>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Students enrolled in a Bachelor\u2019s Degree, a Single-cycle Master\u2019s Degree, or a Master\u2019s Degree course at the University of Pisa may apply for part-time student status.
