{"id":19643,"date":"2025-01-11T17:08:17","date_gmt":"2025-01-11T17:08:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.unipi.it\/campus-and-services\/services\/sportello-dsa-disturbi-specifici-di-apprendimento\/"},"modified":"2025-04-14T08:34:26","modified_gmt":"2025-04-14T08:34:26","slug":"dsa-desk","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.unipi.it\/en\/campus-e-servizi\/services\/dsa-desk\/","title":{"rendered":"DSA Desk"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The University of Pisa has a special desk for students with Learning Disability.<\/p>\n<p>The desk offers:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>support to the participants in admission exams or assessment tests;<\/li>\n<li>mediation interventions with lecturers in preparation for the exams;<\/li>\n<li>targeted tutoring for educational activities;<\/li>\n<li>information on enrolment procedures and entry tests;<\/li>\n<li>individual sessions of didactic counselling;<\/li>\n<li>detailed and up-to-date diagnosis and certification for students who do not have a diagnosis or whose diagnosis is out-of-date (i.e. over three years old). Diagnosis and certification will be carried out, in agreement with the Stella Maris Institute, according to the new regulations of the Consensus Conference held in Rome (Istituto Superiore di Sanit\u00e0, 6-7 December 2010) and the PARCC (Panel for Updating and Revising the Consensus Conference 2007) published in February 2011.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Exam support<\/h2>\n<p>To ask for exam support, please send a request to <a href=\"mailto:dsa@adm.unipi.it\">dsa@adm.unipi.it<\/a> at least <strong>one week<\/strong> <strong>before the exam<\/strong> specifying:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>the type of exam you are taking;<\/li>\n<li>the date;<\/li>\n<li>the lecturer of the course;<\/li>\n<li>the support required.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Support with competitions or assessment tests<\/h2>\n<p>The request for support must be made online at <a href=\"http:\/\/ausili.adm.unipi.it\">http:\/\/ausili.adm.unipi.it.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Only for post-graduate studies (post-graduate courses, specialisation courses, PhD courses, teacher training courses):<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Download and fill in the appropriate <a href=\"https:\/\/www.unipi.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/modulo_ausili_dsa_2020.pdf\">form<\/a>;<\/li>\n<li>Send the form with the attachments required to <a href=\"mailto:ausiliconcorsietest@unipi.it\">ausiliconcorsietest@unipi.it<\/a> by the competition deadline.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Welcome project<\/h2>\n<p>The aim of the project is to help students plan their university careers by making the experience of the USID and the DSA Desk staff available to them.<\/p>\n<p>A <a href=\"https:\/\/www.unipi.it\/media\/k2\/attachments\/questionario_progetto_accoglienza.pdf\">questionnaire<\/a> has been prepared to encourage student involvement in the University.
