{"id":193366,"date":"2025-03-27T09:11:17","date_gmt":"2025-03-27T09:11:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.unipi.it\/education\/registration\/enrolment-and-registration\/masters-degree-courses-second-level\/procedure-termini\/"},"modified":"2025-07-22T11:34:30","modified_gmt":"2025-07-22T09:34:30","slug":"procedures-and-deadlines","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.unipi.it\/en\/education\/registration\/enrolment-and-registration\/masters-degree-courses-second-level\/procedures-and-deadlines\/","title":{"rendered":"Procedures and deadlines"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Deadlines<\/h2>\n<p>You can register for open-admission Master\u2019s Degree Courses<strong> from 24 July to 31 December 2025<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>If you graduate from the University of Pisa after 31 December 2025, you may apply for pre-enrolment in the academic year 2026\/2027 by enrolling in Transition Courses.<\/p>\n<p>If you are enrolled in the Transition Courses, you can take exams for the Master&#8217;s Degree Course, but your enrolment will be finalised when registration opens for the academic year 2026\/2027.<\/p>\n<h2>Procedure for students about to graduate at the University of Pisa<\/h2>\n<h3>Students about to graduate<\/h3>\n<p>They can apply for admission once they have obtained their degree. .<\/p>\n<h3>Graduates<\/h3>\n<p>If they already hold a Bachelor&#8217;s Degree, they must log into <a href=\"https:\/\/ammissionelm.adm.unipi.it\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Ammissionelm<\/a> and choose between:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>standard enrolment, if they hold a Bachelor&#8217;s Degree or equivalent degree<\/li>\n<li>university transfer, if they are currently enrolled in a degree course at another Italian university<\/li>\n<li>career shortening, if they already hold a degree of the same level (e.g. Master&#8217;s, Second Degree or pre-reform degrees)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>It is not necessary to upload qualifications already obtained at the University of Pisa.<\/p>\n<p>However, they can upload additional documents that could support the evaluation of their admission application (e.g. self-certifications of qualifications obtained at other universities, self-certifications of exams taken in different academic careers at other universities, language or computer certifications, provided they comply with Law 183\/2011).<strong> All self-certifications must be signed<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>If their qualification was obtained abroad, they must also upload the documents required by the ministerial provisions\/MUR provisions.<\/p>\n<p>Some Master\u2019s Degree Courses require <a href=\"https:\/\/www.unipi.it\/en\/education\/registration\/enrolment-and-registration\/masters-degree-courses-second-level\/ulteriori-adempimenti\/\">additional requirements<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>For further information <a href=\"https:\/\/www.unipi.it\/en\/about-us\/international-relations\/welcome-services\/wis\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">visit this page<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2>Procedure for graduates from other universities<\/h2>\n<p>If you graduated from another university, for enrolment in a Master&#8217;s degree course you must:<\/p>\n<p>1.Register in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.studenti.unipi.it\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Alice portal<\/a>:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ol>\n<li>enter your personal data<\/li>\n<li>upload a <a href=\"https:\/\/matricolandosi.unipi.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/06\/foto3-1.pdf\">passport photo<\/a> in electronic format under the section called Anagrafica &#8211; Upload foto (<a href=\"https:\/\/matricolandosi.unipi.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/06\/foto3-1.pdf\">please check photo format requirements<\/a>)<\/li>\n<li>enter a copy of an identity document in the Secretariat &#8211; Identity Documents section<\/li>\n<li>enter your secondary school diploma details in the Segreteria &#8211; Titoli di studio section<\/li>\n<li>enter your degree details in the Segreteria &#8211; Titoli di studio section. <strong>If you have not yet graduated, skip this step to complete your registration<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>If you are a non-EU resident student, please upload a copy of your residence permit in accordance with Article 39, paragraph 5 of Legislative Decree No. 286 of 25 July 1998.<\/li>\n<li>If you are a non-EU, non-resident student, you must first access the portal <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.universitaly.it\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">www.universitaly.it<\/a><\/strong> and complete the pre-enrolment application, as explained on the page <a href=\"https:\/\/www.unipi.it\/en\/education\/registration\/enrolment-and-registration\/enrolment-for-international-students\/masters-degree-courses-noeucitizenship\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">www.unipi.it\/didattica\/iscrizioni\/immatricolazioni-e-iscrizioni\/iscrizioni-per-studenti-internazionali\/laurea-magistrale-cittadinanza-non-europea<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>You do not need to select a degree course in the &#8220;Scelta del corso (Immatricolazioni)\u201d section, as Master&#8217;s degree courses are not listed. Your application must first be evaluated by the Board of the Master&#8217;s Degree Course.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Access the Ammissionelm portal:\n<ol>\n<li>You must use the same credentials as in the Alice portal.<\/li>\n<li>dovrai scegliere tra:<br \/>\n\u2013 standard enrolment, if they hold a Bachelor&#8217;s degree or equivalent<br \/>\n\u2013 \u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.unipi.it\/didattica\/segreterie\/gestione-della-carriera\/trasferimenti-da-o-ad-altri-atenei\/trasferimenti-da-un-altro-ateneo-2\/\">university transfer<\/a>, if they are currently enrolled in a degree course at another Italian university<br \/>\n\u2013 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.unipi.it\/en\/education\/registration\/enrolment-and-registration\/seconda-laurea-abbreviazione-di-carriera\/\">career shortening<\/a>, if they already hold a degree of the same level (e.g. Master&#8217;s, Second Degree or pre-reform degrees)<\/li>\n<li>You can upload additional documents that could support the evaluation of your admission application (e.g. language certificates, self-certifications of exams taken in different academic careers etc.) Self-certifications must be signed.<\/li>\n<li>Please also refer to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.unipi.it\/en\/education\/registration\/enrolment-and-registration\/masters-degree-courses-second-level\/ulteriori-adempimenti\/\">\u201cAdditional requirements\u201d<\/a> page to check whether you need to upload other documents for your chosen Master&#8217;s degree course. <strong>(N.B.: this is mandatory for Master&#8217;s degree courses in Linguistics and Translation, Euro-American Languages, Literatures and Philologies, Computer Science, Computer Science and Networking and for Master&#8217;s degree courses offered by the Department of Economics and Management)<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>If your degree was obtained abroad, you must include the documents required by the ministerial provisions of the MUR \u201cProcedures for the entry, residence and enrolment of foreign\/international students on higher education courses in Italy academic year 2024\/2025\u201d. For further information see the dedicated section https:\/\/www.unipi.it\/en\/about-us\/international-relations\/welcome-services\/wis\/<\/p>\n<p>For further information <a href=\"https:\/\/www.unipi.it\/en\/about-us\/international-relations\/welcome-services\/wis\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">visit this page<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2>Registration<\/h2>\n<p>Once your application is approved, proceed to confirm your registration:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>by paying the first instalment by<strong> 31 December 2025<\/strong>, or by uploading your scholarship receipt, or by uploading a document granting exemption from fees (certification of disability recognised as equal to or greater than 66%, or certification of disability with recognition of handicap pursuant to art. 3, para. 1 of Law 104\/1992) on the Alice portal (sezione Segreteria &#8211; Dichiarazioni di invalidit\u00e0)<\/li>\n<li>If the assessment of admission requirements has not been completed by<strong> 1 December 2025<\/strong>, you will have 30 days from the date of notification of the outcome to confirm your registration.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Until registration is confirmed, you cannot:take examsapply for tuition fee reductions. After this date, enrolment in the Master&#8217;s Degree Course will be finalised with the opening of registrations for the academic year 2025\/2026 and your application may be re-evaluated based on the courses offered in the same academic year.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Training activities completed in previous academic careers or during Transition Courses cannot be recognised as part of the Master\u2019s Degree Course if they were required to meet admission requirements.<\/p>\n<h2>Tuition fees and Reductions<\/h2>\n<p>See details on tuition fees and reductions in the<a href=\"https:\/\/www.unipi.it\/en\/education\/registration\/tasse\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> dedicated section<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>If, by 1 December 2025, you have not yet received the outcome of the assessment of your curricular requirements and\/or personal preparation, and you have already confirmed your enrolment, you may still apply for a tuition fee reduction within 30 days of receiving the outcome.<\/p>\n<p>The first instalment, if already paid, will be refunded in the following cases:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>negative outcome of the personal preparation evaluation, with no possibility of fulfilling the requirements through Transition Courses;<\/li>\n<li>student\u2019s decision to withdraw from enrolment in the proposed Transition Courses;<\/li>\n<li>lack of curricular requirements exceeding 40 CFUs;<\/li>\n<li>withdrawal from studies submitted either before the evaluation of curricular requirements and\/or personal preparation or within 15 days of the completion of enrolment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Reimbursement of the first instalment will not be granted if the payment was required to obtain the Bachelor&#8217;s Degree.<\/p>\n<h2>Student Card<\/h2>\n<p>By enrolling at the University of Pisa, you will receive the Student Card, which grants access to university services such as canteens and the electronic wallet.<\/p>\n<p>For details on how to obtain your Student Card, please refer to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.unipi.it\/?page_id=20071\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">dedicated section<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2>Withdrawal of application<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">If you have not yet confirmed your registration, you can withdraw your application via the <a href=\"https:\/\/ammissionelm.adm.unipi.it\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Admission Porta<\/a>l.
