{"id":190679,"date":"2025-02-21T12:24:11","date_gmt":"2025-02-21T12:24:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.unipi.it\/education\/registration\/enrolment-for-international-students\/tasse-universitarie-e-borse-di-studio\/"},"modified":"2026-03-30T18:05:30","modified_gmt":"2026-03-30T16:05:30","slug":"university-fees-and-scholarships","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.unipi.it\/en\/education\/registration\/enrolment-and-registration\/enrolment-for-international-students\/university-fees-and-scholarships\/","title":{"rendered":"University fees and scholarships"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>For the academic year 2025\/2026, the \u201cmaximum all-inclusive tuition fees\u201d for regular students &#8211; which covers teaching, scientific and administrative services &#8211; is <strong>\u20ac2.900<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The payment of university tuition fees is divided into four instalments.<\/p>\n<p>The first instalment of <strong>\u20ac 250<\/strong> must be paid upon registration by <strong>30 September 2025 or by 31 December if you are a student visa applicant.<\/strong> This initial payment is not due for:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>DSU Toscana scholarship applicants<\/li>\n<li>those with a disability of 66% or more<\/li>\n<li>those who have a recognised disability as per Article 3(1) of Law 104\/1992.<\/li>\n<li>International students who have been awarded an Italian Government scholarship: they only pay the regional tax of <strong>\u20ac140<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The <strong>Call for applications for the DSU Toscana Scholarship<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dsu.toscana.it\/borsa-di-studio\">is available online<\/a> ; applications must be submitted by <strong>5 September 2025<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Students applying for the DSU Toscana scholarship can delay the payment of the first instalment until 31 december 2025. If they are awarded the scholarship, they will be exempt from paying all instalments.<\/p>\n<p>Student visa applicants<strong> can pay the first instalment by 31 December 2025, without any late payment fees.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Anyone who does not finalise enrolment for the three-year degree by <strong>30 September 2025<\/strong> will be subject to a late fee. The following subjects will not be charged a late fee:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>candidates who have participated in an admission competition<\/li>\n<li>those enrolling in a Master\u2019s Degree Course<\/li>\n<li>all visa applicants<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Only a limited number of students pay the full annual fee.
