This certification attests to the compliance of the Department\u2019s management processes with the ISO 9001:2015 standard. It is the first Department at the University of Pisa to achieve this milestone, and one of the few in Italy to have obtained this recognition.<\/p>\n

\u2018This is an important recognition,\u2019 comments Mariacristina Bonti<\/strong>, Director of the Department. \u2018It testifies to our commitment to ensuring quality, transparency, effectiveness and continuous improvement<\/strong> in organisational and management processes, for the benefit of students, teachers, researchers and stakeholders.\u2019<\/p>\n

The certification also attests to the Department\u2019s compliance with international standards in the organisation and coordination of teaching activities for bachelor\u2019s and master\u2019s degree programmes, PhD programmes, postgraduate degree courses and advanced courses, as well as in the promotion of internationalisation and the dissemination of scientific and teaching activities, including through collaboration agreements with foreign universities. It also recognises the provision of technical and advisory support in the management of research projects, with specific reference to documentation and financial reporting activities.<\/p>\n

The certification was issued by Dasa R\u00e4gister following a certification audit conducted on 11 December 2025 by Dr Nicola Ungherese. It is the result of a rigorous process that involved all the Department\u2019s technical and administrative staff, with external support from Dr Lucia Bonechi, Head of the Quality Management System.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
