Per essere ammessi al corso di laurea in Scienze e Tecnologie delle Produzioni Animali occorre essere in possesso di un diploma di scuola secondaria superiore di durata quinquennale o di altro titolo di studio conseguito all'estero, riconosciuto idoneo.
Conoscenze richieste: è richiesto il possesso di una adeguata preparazione iniziale in matematica, fisica, chimica, biologia, comprensione del testo e logica elementare come riportato nel link https://www.cisiaonline.it/tematic_area_agri/il-test/syllabus/.
Verifica delle conoscenze: il corso di Studio è a numero programmato a livello locale. Le conoscenze richieste sono verificate mediante un test di ammissione
con le modalità indicate nel Regolamento del Corso di Studio.
Obblighi Formativi Aggiuntivi (OFA): gli studenti che non abbiano raggiunto un punteggio minimo di 3 per Matematica (soglia per l'assegnazione degli OFA) acquisiscono gli OFA. Gli studenti con OFA potranno usufruire di strumenti di supporto messi a disposizione dal Dipartimento e illustrati nel sito del Corso di Studio (http://www.vet.unipi.it/didattica/corsi-di-laurea/corsi-di-laurea-triennale-in-s-t-p-a/).
Esonero della verifica delle conoscenze: le modalità di accesso degli studenti provenienti da altri Corsi di Studi dell'Università di Pisa, da altri Atenei o già laureati verranno definite dal consiglio di corso di Studio prendendo in esame la situazione di ciascun studente per l'attribuzione o meno degli OFA.
Modalità di assolvimento degli OFA: gli OFA dovranno essere soddisfatti nel primo anno di corso e saranno assolti tramite il superamento di prove in itinere della materia di base deficitaria (Matematica) oppure con il superamento dell'esame di profitto dell'Insegnamento di "Matematica, fisica e statistica", o ancora superando i Test TOLC–AV erogati in apposite date stabilite per il recupero degli OFA. Il mancato assolvimento degli OFA comporta l'impossibilità di sostenere gli esami del secondo e terzo anno.

Verifica delle conoscenze - Il possesso delle conoscenze richieste è verificato mediante un test non selettivo di verifica della preparazione iniziale (TOLC-AV) offerto dal CISIA, che consiste in una prova con domande a risposta multipla in matematica, fisica, chimica, biologia, comprensione del testo e logica elementare. La verifica delle conoscenze ha esito positivo se al test TOLC-AV lo studente ottiene un punteggio maggiore o uguale a 3 in matematica.
Strumenti di supporto – Per la preparazione del test TOLc-AV gli studenti potranno usufruire di strumenti di supporto illustrati nel sito del Corso di Studio (https://www.vet.unipi.it/modalita-di-accesso-stpa/)
Obblighi Formativi Aggiuntivi (OFA) - Gli studenti che non abbiano raggiunto il punteggio minimo previsto per la Matematica acquisiscono gli OFA, ma possono comunque iscriversi al corso di studio.
Modalità di assolvimento degli OFA - Gli OFA dovranno essere soddisfatti nel primo anno di corso e potranno essere assolti in uno dei modi seguenti:
• sostenendo nuovamente il test TOLC-AV e ottenendo un punteggio minimo di 3 nella sezione di matematica;
• frequentando un corso di matematica di base (o “matematica zero”), che si svolge in settembre nelle prime settimane di lezione e superando il relativo test, secondo le modalità fissate dal docente;
• superando prove in itinere in matematica (effettuabili solo nel primo semestre, secondo le date fissate dal docente);
• superando l'esame di profitto dell'Insegnamento di “Matematica, Fisica e Statistica”.
Il mancato assolvimento degli OFA comporta l'impossibilità di sostenere gli esami del secondo e terzo anno.

The Degree Program in Animal Production Science and Technology has an open access. Find more details here.
In order to attend the course, students must take a non-selective evaluation test to verify the initial preparation level.

How to enrol
You can register from 24 July to 30 September 2025. After this period, a late payment fee will be applied.
Enter your personal data on Alice portal.
You will need to access using your SPID or Tax code.

After registering, you'll need to choose a course. You can find the video tutorial at this LINK.
You can choose:
- Standard enrolment;
- Degree program shortening (in the event of a university degree already obtained);
- Relocation from another University.
The procedure will request:
- ID scanned copy
- passport-sized photo (please check size)
- High school diploma details (Secondary School Name, year, final mark).
Students with a foreign qualification are required to upload:
- Declaration of Value (DV) issued by the Italian Diplomatic Authorities in their home country, along with the official translation into Italian of the diploma, legalised (or with an "apostille") and validated, OR, the ENIC-NARIC certificate is accepted in Italian Language. These documents should attest at least 12 years of schooling and the relevant qualification should allow the access to higher education.
For Degree Program shortening the obtained University degree will be required. For relocation from another University previous university career will be required from the other university.
At the end of procedure please print and sign the FORIM to complete enrolment and upload it on the Alice portal in the Career section annexes.
Students with special needs
Students with handicap under art. 3 Italian Law no. 104/1992 or with a certified disability equal or above 66% are required to upload a medical certificate attesting their health condition for university tuition fees exemption (duty stamp is required anyway).
Some special categories under art. 1.1.2 lett. d) e) and art.1.1.3 lett. c) of the Regulations on Tuition fees (such as Italian government scholarship holders, competition winners, detained subjects ) shall email to matricolandosi@unipi.it for a specific calculation of tuition fees.
If you do not apply for a DSU scholarship
If you do not apply for a DSU scholarship, which will be automatically recorded after you have selected your degree course (“Scelta del corso”), you must pay the first instalment of tuition fees.
From 1 October, a late payment fee applies as follows:
- EUR 50 from 1 October 2025 to 31 October 2025
- EUR 100 from 1 November 2025 to 1 December 2025
- EUR 150 from 2 December 2025 (up to 31 December 2025 for newly enrolled students)
International students holding a foreign qualification and visa applicants may pay the first instalment and submit the required documentation by 31 December 2025 without incurring late fees.
If you apply for a DSU scholarship
If you apply for a DSU scholarship, your application will be automatically recorded and your enrolment will be confirmed as soon as you have selected your degree course. In this case, payment of the first instalment is deferred to the deadline for the second instalment. Students awarded a scholarship will not be required to pay any tuition fees; they will only need to pay the EUR 16 virtual stamp duty.
Within three working days of payment (or of degree course selection if you have applied for a scholarship), the Student Office will check and validate the documents and photo submitted during the enrolment procedure. If the documentation provided is complete and correct, you will receive a welcome email confirming your enrolment. Otherwise, you will be contacted directly by email or phone.
Students holding a foreign qualification, regardless of nationality, must upload the required documents, which will be validated by the International Office (wis@unipi.it).
For Degree Program shortening the previous university career will be recognized after submitting to the Students Office the “qualifications recognition” form with the annexed self certification of all exams. Deadline December 31, 2025.
For relocation from another University the Students Office will confirm you the acceptance of the discharge papers from the university of origin. Transfer deadline is December 31, 2025.
