Il workshop si concentra sul tema della promozione dei valori fondanti dell'Unione europea nei rapporti con i Paesi a Sud e a Est dell'Unione europea e con la Russia.
In particolare, i relatori esamineranno le tecniche attraverso le quali i valori dell'UE sono esportati, la coerenza di tale organizzazione nel pretendere il rispetto di tali valori e il modo in cui essa reagisce di fronte alla loro mancata applicazione.
