For the academic year 2009/10, the maximum sum of the university fees is fixed at € 1896,00 + regional tax of € 98,00 + € 6 to finance sport activites.
Many students are still able to obtain a reduction for both merit (up to € 258, 00) and income (up to € 1638, 00). These two reductions are accumulable: a student with the right to both maximum reductions is obliged to pay the regional tax only.
Exemption from payment is given to students who:
Students from countries with particularly high levels of poverty (included in the annual governmental list) are entitled to the maximum possible reduction for income.
The University fees for foreign students from other non UE countries are calculated using a coefficient relative to the national average income level.
These same reductions also apply to post-graduate students.
The fees are to be paid in four instalments, the first of which, for students not applying for a reduction, prior to the 30 th of September.
