Erasmus Opportunities
The University offers guest students on the Erasmus Programme many opportunities.
Language courses
To ease language learning, the University runs Italian language courses dedicated to the Erasmus students at the Interdepartmental Language Centre. The courses are free.

Libraries
The numerous University libraries are accessible to Erasmus students for consultation and lending services.
Sport
The University Sports Centre offers the possibility of practicing a range of sporting activities, with the same conditions reserved for Pisa university students.
Canteen
The city has two university canteens, open for lunch and dinner, where a full meal costs a maximum of 2,10 euro. Canteen access requires the magnetic student card issued by the Student Office in via Buonarroti 6 (hours: Monday 8.30-13.00 and Thursday 15.15-17.30; tel. 050- 555080)

Accommodation
To provide for the needs of “incoming” foreign citizens, the International Relations Office runs the Welcome Point service, set up as a kind of information and support centre solely for foreign students and teachers.

The Regional Authority for the Right to Study offers an assistance service in finding accommodation. Many students rent a room in a shared flat; the cost varies depending on if the room is a single or double and the flat's location. The average cost of a single room in a flat is around 300 - 350 euro a month.

Erasmus Student Network
The Erasmus Student Network association organizes events dedicated to Socrates students to ease their integration in to city life, and provides, amongst other things, effective assistance in the search for accommodation.
