It is not easy, for many people, to choose what to study at University.
Following secondary school, it is often not clear "what you want to do as an adult", and it is difficult to understand exactly what it means to dedicate yourself to the study of one, single subject.
Even if university studies, at present, tend to be more flexible, it remains true that every choice excludes others, and therefore can, at times, cause preoccupation and confusion.
For this reason, the University of Pisa has set up various services aimed at providing information on study choices and assistance in study path planning.
All degree courses are presented, every autumn, in detail: this provides secondary school students the opportunity of meeting University teachers and students and forming a more accurate and immediate idea of the university environment.
The degree courses are equipped with study coordinators that are available to assist students in the choice and planning of their study path.
These study coordinators also coordinate and monitor the vocational training activities within external companies.
