Welcome point
To provide for the needs of "incoming" foreign citizens, the International Relations Office runs the Welcome Point service, set up as a kind of information and support centre solely for foreign students and teachers.
The Welcome Point, also in collaboration with other University offices, provides information on visas and stay permits, the possibility of attending Italian language courses, the services offered by the University as well as on the city of Pisa, public transport, cultural, recreational and sports events.
In particular, a welcome service has been developed for new foreign teachers, scholars and students.
Thanks to the stipulation of certain agreements with religious residences, hostels and institutes, the University of Pisa makes a certain number of reasonably priced accommodation places available.
